Over the last couple of weeks details have emerged about how the ordinary USB devices we use daily can be exploited to hack our computers and gain access to our file and folder data without our knowledge. This new attack is something that can not readily be detected prior to the attack and as of now, there is no known fix to this weakness either.
Dubbed “BadUSB” hacked USB devices are easily reprogrammed and then used to control the host computers or even take control of a network and exploit it.
