Professionally written code, used by security services worldwide to spy and access practically anything on a smartphone or tablet, has been stolen and uploaded to the internet.
Available as a free download and previously undetectable by anti-virus and malware detection programs, this software is used by many governments and law enforcement agencies to eavesdrop on devices it is installed on.
Apparently costing in the region of £1,000,000 to buy, the users of the software can remotely control many aspects of a smartphone or tablet including the monitoring and recording of all conversations via the microphone and camera, all without the user knowing anything untoward was happening.
