Platter removal tool for hard disk drives

This device is available for both 3.5" & 2.5" hard disk drives. It allows the safe and correct removal and replacement of hard disk platters whilst maintaining correct inter-platter alignment.

The device is inserted from above and goes around the platter edge before being tightened to allow platter removal.

The platter removal tool is useful for all types of data recovery where swapping hard drive platters between chassis' is necessary eg. hard disk drive problems involving motor and spindle faults.
