Here’s an example of some of our data recovery work on Nokia phones.
In this case the phone was a Nokia 520 (RM-914) which was displaying the error message “Unable to find a bootable option. Press any key to shut down”. We recovered the data from it by dismantling the phone and hooking into the motherboard’s data channels to extract the data (a process known a JTAG). We got a full recovery of the data.
Our data recovery capabilities and far more advanced than what a high street phone repair can provide. So if you have a broken phone and have been told the data is not recoverable, what they probably mean is that the data is not recoverable by them. Please contact us for a second opinion as we can usually get the data back.

How our Phone Recovery Works
We use advanced data recovery techniques to recover the data from damaged phones. This often involves dismantling your phone so we can hook directly into the motherboard & / or memory chips and extract the data independent of any fault the phone may have. Your data is usually recovered to a memory stick or hard drive and returned to you along with your dismantled phone once the work is completed.
You can call in and drop your phone off with us at any Data Clinic office (see our locations here), or we have a free collection service that picks up from any UK address. Call us on 0800 151 2207 to book or fill out the form to your right and we’ll call you back.
