In 2019 we are proud to sponsor Derbyshire Cricket Club. Derbyshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Derbyshire. Its limited overs team is called the Derbyshire Falcons in reference to the famous peregrine falcon which nests on the Derby Cathedral.
A promising young wicketkeeper-batsman, local home-grown player Harvey Hosein has graduated from the county age groups, all the way up to the first team.
The wicketkeeper-batsman made his first-team debut in the match against the touring Indian side and impressed with the bat, as well as with his glovemanship. Hosein made an unbeaten 53 against the Indians and took one catch, at the age of just 17.
