Recovering data from SSD hard drives (Solid State devices)
Essentially an SSD hard drive is just like a very big pen flash drive, only with more memory chips and some complex code that makes the chips all function correctly together. As there are no moving parts in SSD hard drives the idea is that the failure rates are a lot lower. Whilst it's true that data loss due to mechanical problems such as hard disk head failure, hard drive spindle failure and hard disk headcrashes are problems that are not relevent to SSD hard drives, SSD hard drives are prone to the following types of failure:
Successful recovery of SSD hard disk data
By reading the data from each memory chip in theSSD drive and then reconstructing the overall disk image we are able to recover lost SSD data. Note: There is a known fault on the OCZ Vertex 2 series of solid state hard disks Please call Data Clinic now on 0871 977 2525 / +44-161-761-0620 > Back
