These drives are quite popular in the UK and find themselves in all types of desktop PC, low end server and external hard disk. |

Western Digital's WD10TMVV hard disk drivePosted July 20th, 2011 These drives are the first we've seen the use a micro USB interface rather than a SATA. We are seeing more and more of them, they also feature an encryption facility too... |

New data recovery picturePosted July 19th, 2011 This fine addition now adorns our wall in the Bury office. It's a large number of hard disk platters suspended vertically in some sort of frame. Hmm, we're not really sure which part of the disk platter manufacturing process this stage relates to... it's got to be some part that relates to quality control, or perhaps it's just a fine opportunity for an interesting photo. You can click on the photo if you want to see an enlargement. |
This month we’ve opened 5 new regional data recovery offices in the UKPosted July 8th, 2011 Previously customers would need to either send their damaged hard drives to us, or, if they were local, drop them in. Its always good when customers call in because we are able to discuss their hard drive problems with them face to face and build a friendly relationship with them. By opening offices in these new locations we intend to make our UK wide service a much more engaging and interactive one, rather than often having to talk through what the problems with the drive are on the telephone. So in addition to our data recovery services in Manchester and London, we now also offer them in Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and Sheffield too. |

Some recent photosPosted July 7th, 2011 At Data Clinic Ltd we’re fortunate enough to get faulty hard disk drives from all over the world come into us for data recovery. As you can imagine, many different things can go wrong with a hard drive. Sometimes it’s possible to get around the problems and recover the data, other times the drive can be too damaged and recovery is not possible. Here are a small selection of pictures showing some hard drives that customers have sent in for data recovery. |

A Real Review...Posted July 5th, 2011 A lot of ‘reviews’ you read on data recovery sites aren’t reviews at all. They’re made up by the people who own the web site using a false name to make themselves look competent and professional… This is in order to try and gain your trust so you’re more likely to send them your business. I’m pleased to say that the reviews you’ll see on the Data Clinic web site aren’t made up at all. They’re real reviews by real people who have sent real jobs to us. Here’s a review that a customer sent to us recently… he sent us 2 hard drives – both which had failed, for data recovery. Dear Andy and the rest of the Data Clinic team, I am writing to express my deepest thanks for the service you have provided. I am literally lost for words at the customer care and support that you presented me with. I have never written to a business to thank them for the service they have provided, not due to dissatisfaction, but due to the fact that you expect the service you pay for. In this case, it is the mere fact that I have been supplied with such a stella service that I am writing. As I am sure you can appreciate, the past few weeks have been very hard for me to handle, with the loss of two hard drives in less than 48 hours. As soon as I called Data Clinic, I was greeted by such sympathy and valuable advice. Not only that, you guys managed to recover everything that I lost and unbelievably fast as well! Even when there was a hick-up in the process, you rapidly sought to fix the issue without any additional problems. The data that was recovered was the majority of the work that I have been doing for the past 5 years, without it, I would inevitably lose everything and have to start from scratch. For this, I am forever grateful to all of you! I would just like to emphasise the reason for this email. I am of course absolutely thrilled that you have managed to get my data back to me, however, the overlying reason why I am so happy is because of the impeccable customer care you have shown towards me and the support that you have given me. I hope that I will not be needing these services again, but if I do find myself in need of data recovery or alternatively if I have a friend that is in need of data recovery then I will without a shadow of a doubt come back to you guys. Once again, thank you so much!! All the Best, Ben
